The Dark Knight is the new reason I love the movies. Without a doubt, it is the greatest film--animated, action, drama or otherwise--of the twenty-first century. Pitch-perfect acting, innovative cinematography, and a plot that grows darker and darker until the final line of dialogue.
Better than a weekend at sea. Better than the best meal you've ever eaten. The Dark Knight is sublime.
